If you would like to place an order, give Shutter Style a call on 0191 2374400 and one of our trained staff will measure up free of charge. This will ensure that your shutters will not only fit perfectly, but will also guarantee that the correct frame style is used for your windows.

What wood do you use and is it ECO friendly?
The ‘Vancouver Range’ is made from Western Red Cedar. The timber is very durable with an attractive grain. It is a very expensive timber, but does not need to be laminated to retain its stability. It is obtained through The Western red Cedar Association in Canada who responsibly preserves and manages the cedar forests.
The ‘Phoenix’ is made from a laminated Phoenix wood, sometimes called the Parasol wood. It grows in sub tropical areas of the southern states of the USA, China and Japan, where it reaches full height and maturity in about 15 years which is ideal for farming.
The ‘Hollywood’ range is made from ABS (a plastic polymer) and internally stiffened with Cedar strips left over from the Vancouver production. Although essentially a ‘plastic’ product produced to withstand the harsher elements of home life, we still choose to paint the shutters to give them a more attractive appearance.
